Puja by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana

Sat, Mar 01, 2025

On Saturday, March 1st at 5:30 pm Central Time, Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will perform a traditional Kerala-style Shiva-Shakti puja ceremony at MA Center Chicago to celebrate Maha Shivaratri. Devotional chants and bhajans will accompany the puja. All are welcome to attend.

Shiva-Shakti Puja is conducted to help one integrate material and spiritual progress. It also helps married couples to improve harmony in the marriage.

Shiva represents the witness consciousness and Shakti represents the material world. In reality, they are not two, but one only. Within the divine consciousness is the seed of the material world, and the material world is pervaded with the divine consciousness. As Amma very simply states the profound Truth: 'Creator and Creation are one and the same'.

Shiva-Shakti helps us to integrate our material life with our spiritual life, to infuse the entire life with an enlightened consciousness filled with peace, love, harmony, and inspiration.

To register for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made on your behalf, or for a loved one, during the puja, please sign up using the link provided below. The suggested donation for a special intention is $130.
